“ Loved this place! Cute decor and trendy vibe. Didn't have big expectations after reading the reviews here but I was very pleasantly surprised when the food came. The brussel sprouts and the octopus were absolutely delicious!! I highly recommend getting them. The brussel sprouts were not "crispy" but they were so flavorful. Same with octopus that I think was pleasantly mixed with eggplants and had a spicy kick to it. The mushroom risotto was good, had so much potential but it needed a little more flavor. ”
“ Whipped Ricotta was delicious, I thought it would be enough food but it was super filling. The latte was normal -- nothing special. The ambiance was also really nice and pretty good service. Was a little on the pricier side ”
“ It was yum! Your very standard airy expensive Brooklyn brunch cafe but it was good - a tad on salty side. Breakfast burrito was nice- think it wld b amazing w potato. I think u can skip The fries Don't know if it was standout enough to warrant coming back but had a nice experience overall ”
“ Sereneco is such a wonderful spot for brunch. The space itself is bright, airy and clean. The whipped ricotta was an absolute standout--light, creamy, and beautifully presented with a drizzle of honey, pistachios and perfectly toasted focaccia. It's one of those dishes that's simple but executed so well that it feels special. The breakfast burrito was good as well. The balance of flavors was spot on, and it left us feeling perfectly satisfied. I also tried their kombucha, which was refreshing and not overly sweet--just the right amount of fizz and flavor to complement the meal. The service was attentive and friendly, but I felt a bit rushed. Other than that, don't miss the whipped ricotta--it's a must! ”
“ Great neighborhood spot. Made a reservation for dinner on a Friday and had a great meal here. I tried: + Sereneco derby cocktail + whipped ricotta + Brussels sprouts + chicory salad + Grilled heritage pork chop The cocktail was delicious, and all of the food was solid, with the Brussels sprouts being the standout. Nice vibes inside, too. They have a really good happy hour - would come back just for drinks! And would try the brunch. ”
“ This may of been one of the best brunches I have had in a while. I went here with a group of friends and it was delicious. The interior is beautiful and the food was to die for. The breakfast burrito was insane!!!! Pancakes were great too! Definitely will be going back. I think the staff seemed a little overwhelmed/ maybe not enough waitstaff, but overall everything was great! ”
“ fantastic brunch spot in greenpoint! I came on a recommendation from a friend who lives in the area, and it didn't disappoint! It had a great energy for a sunday early afternoon, and even though it was peak brunching hours, my partner and I were able to immediately get seated at the bar. lovely and friendly service. They have an expansive menu of wines, and I enjoyed trying their natural wine (which came out in a beautiful color), and ordered the crispy parm potatoes, salad, and braised beef sandwich! Let me tell you... I still think about those crispy potatoes! I can't believe how crunchy they got the skin, while still being yummy and starchy on the inside. The braised beef sandwich and salad were also very flavorful. We left super satiated and are excited to come back again! ”
“ Wonderful brunch spot tucked away in Greenpoint. While the food isn't necessarily reinventing the wheel, it is incredibly solid and made with extreme care. I visited because a chef I knew was working here, and his signature attention to detail and fine-dining experience was evident here. The whipped ricotta was the standout, but the least expected delicacy was the breakfast burrito! Not particularly reminiscent of any style of breakfast burrito (neither Californian nor Texan), but it was very hearty and velvety. The interior is beautiful, and the drinks well made. Come by for a no-frills, no-nonsense classy brunch. ”
“ Such a cozy and cute brunch place, and I love their olive green tiles at the entrance specifically! The high ceiling actually makes the indoor space refreshing. They partner with the local coffee roaster Paloma. The latte and drip coffee both taste yummy! They may have toasted tortilla wrap of burrito, which I enjoyed a lot and overall it's not heavy. The eggs somehow were overcooked in Shakshouka and it took about 25 minutes for our food items to be served, which was a little bit disappointing. But overall, I would still like to come back again. follow more on my Instagram @whatsuprosienyc ”
